Artists' Profiles
The term artist in this Artists in Education service is inclusive of dancers, actors, musicians, visual artists, cultural groups et al, who (individually or in groups) speak, perform, workshop or present their arts expertise for schools.
The artists' profiles published on Arts Online's Artists in Education have been submitted by artists and groups who are interested in working with students in New Zealand primary and secondary schools to support arts learning programmes. Various options are provided to help you search an artist or arts practice, including names, regions, genre and availability.
Arts Online aims to list artists best suited to work in schools but we cannot guarantee this. Whether artists are employees, contractors, or volunteers, ascertaining the reputation and quality of anyone working in schools is the responsibility of the school management on behalf of the board of trustees.
