Visual Artists are Gifted/Talented Too!

"Exceptional Children differ from other children in a number of ways and from each other". Lark-Horovitz, Lewis, & Luca (1967, p. 121).
There is little agreement in claims of the characteristics of gifted/talented children in the visual arts (Clark & Zimmerman, 1992, p.1X).
This material aims to provide supporting information to help with the identification of children who are gifted/talented in the visual arts, and to suggest some ways that these children can be nurtured in the classroom.
