Senior Secondary Drama Units: Developing Key Competencies
The following three Ministry of Education senior secondary drama units have been specifically designed (by Delia Baskerville) to support new teachers to NZ and beginning teachers. Explicit pedagogical practices are detailed throughout. Experienced teachers may find these units useful to adapt to the specific learning needs of their students.
As these units are written for the New Zealand Curriculum (2007) they provide students with meaningful contexts of learning to support them in becoming proficient in the Key Competencies. Each unit highlights one Key Competency for focused learning.
